Providing a good and stable environment for the development of the digital economy and promoting multi-path entrepreneurship through industrial digitalization have created good conditions for the development of the digital economy in 2020. On July 15 this year, 13 departments including the National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Opinions on Supporting the Healthy Development of New Business Forms and New Models to Activate the Consumer Market and Drive Expansion of Employment."

The opinions proposed to support 15 key new business forms and models, including online education, online office, industrial platform, Internet medical care, digital governance, digital transformation, digital supply chain, " "Unmanned Economy" and so on, it is clear that digitalization is used to promote industrial development and industrial digitalization is used to drive multi-form and multi-path entrepreneurship.

Effective policy guidance and strong financial support have allowed the development of the digital economy to enter the "acceleration" track. As for the traditional manufacturing industry, taking advantage of the "east wind" of policies, drastic industrial digital transformation has also begun. From the perspective of regional distribution, many provinces and cities in my country's southeastern coastal and central regions have successively formulated corresponding plans for the digitalization and automation transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. Zhejiang and Chongqing have achieved outstanding results in industrial digitalization.

According to statistics, from January to June this year, the added value of the manufacturing industry, the core industry of digital economy in Jiaxing Xiuzhou District, was 1.685 billion yuan, accounting for 22.3% of the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size, exceeding the city's digital economy The added value of manufacturing accounts for 5 percentage points of the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size. Investment in digital economy manufacturing increased by 28.7% year-on-year, ranking third in the city. This will be of great help to the development and growth of the local and provincial digital economy industries.

In addition to the manufacturing field, new applications of the digital economy based on 5G, the Internet of Things, big data, and cloud computing are also used in urban governance, social infrastructure, etc.The role played by the government has also become increasingly prominent. For example, during the COVID-19 war, companies such as Alibaba Cloud in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, jointly launched digital governance initiatives such as the City Health Code and Qingqing Online, which effectively ensured the resilience of social operating systems and enterprises in coping with the crisis. In the first half of 2020, the added value of the digital economy in Xihu District was 25.09 billion yuan, accounting for 34.2% of GDP, and the growth rate ranked first in Hangzhou.

From an enterprise perspective, Tencent, Alibaba, etc. are creating a "new trend" in intelligent manufacturing for steel mills, and Huawei is also undertaking an intelligent mining project, which has made the domestic mining industry digital and intelligent. The process of industrialization is accelerating.
